Pours deep garnet with violet edges. The nose opens with ripe black plum and cassis, followed by sweet spices, toast, and a hint of wood, layered, inviting aromas that flow into the palate. On the palate, it’s intense and generous, unveiling a complex tapestry of black and red fruits, warm baking spice, and toasted nuance, all balanced by a poised, lingering finish.
This emblematic cuvée is built on clay-limestone soils topped with Rhône-rolled pebbles, giving the wine both generosity and patinated tannins from barrel and demi-muids aging, especially for the Syrah component. The blend typically comprises 70 % Syrah, 20 % Grenache, 8 % Mourvèdre, and 2 % Carignan. Aging includes new oak for up to 18 months, resulting in concentration, age-worthiness, and polished structure.
Serve at around 15 °C (decant 1–2 hours). A sumptuous match for lamb tagine, duck confit with mushrooms, game terrines, or richly aged cheeses, a Languedoc red built for grand, savory fare.

Nestled between the shores of the Mediterranean and the foothills of the Cévennes, the Puech-Haut estate extends over more than one hundred and fifty hectares. The castle was built there with good reason: an ideal climate, passionate men and land covered with pudding stones (galets), made famous in Chateauneuf-du-Pape.
Through wine, the personalities and the richness of an entire region are also expressed and shared. Thus, the wines of Château Puech-Haut are all steeped in history and endowed with a singular identity and a strong character.
The history of Château Puech-Haut is closely linked to that of its founder, Gérard Bru. A man who, after a successful industrial career, decided to leave everything behind to reconnect with his roots: The land of Languedoc. This region of southern France was already full of history for Gérard. It was on this land that he was introduced to vineyards by his grandfather. And it is also here that his father worked as intendant of the National School of Agronomy of Montpellier. It was there, at the time just scrubland and wild olive groves, that he built his dream.
Perfectly embodying the elegance of Provence, this lively rosé from just outside Montpellier captures the essence of sun-warmed stone and salt-kissed sea breezes.
