Nestled in the wild, unspoiled Gassac Valley in the heart of the Languedoc, Mas de Daumas Gassac has earned a reputation as one of France’s most remarkable estates. Founded in the early 1970s by Véronique and Aimé Guibert, this once-forgotten farm was transformed into a vineyard unlike any other, now hailed by critics as the “Lafite of the Languedoc.”
The secret lies in its extraordinary terroir: a cool microclimate, rare for southern France, combined with deep, well-drained glacial soils rich in mineral complexity.
