Pours pale lemon-yellow, this white blend opens with vibrant aromas of nectarine, peach, and grapefruit, caressed by floral and honeyed nuances. On the palate, it's expressive yet well-balanced, fruit-driven yet mineral-laced, with stone-backed freshness and a long, clean finish.
This opulent white embodies the Brunel family’s winemaking mastery. Crafted from Roussanne, Clairette, Viognier, Grenache Blanc, and Bourboulenc grapes from limestone-rich vineyards in the Southern Rhône. The grapes are immediately pressed post-harvest, then gently fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and purity.
Serve well-chilled (8–10 °C). A lovely match for roasted chicken or quiche (salmon or cod), creamy seafood dishes, grilled fish, and soft goat cheeses, for a crisp, food-friendly option.
Gaston Brunel acquired Chateau de la Gardine in 1945. He was a famous négociant at the time but the Brunel family had been involved in winemaking since 17th Century. Around 10 years ago the Brunel family went back to their wine merchant roots by launching the Brunel de le Gardine range, allowing them to offer a wide range of both Southern and Northern Rhône appellations.
The Brunel family chooses the best wines from each appellation, using well-established relations with top winegrowers in the area. The family then uses all their knowledge and experience blending and maturing these wines, respecting tradition and the typicity of each terroir.
About ten appellations are represented: from the northernmost part of the Rhône Valley (Condrieu, Cornas) to the south (Vacqueyras, Gigondas).
The quality packaging, with the Gardine special bottle, is the signature of this fine selection.
An elegant yet powerful Rhône classic. Ripe cherries, savory herbs, and polished spice layered over a richly structured core. A beautifully balanced expression of Châteauneuf, with pedigree and poise.
A bold and aromatic Rhône Cru. Ripe red and black fruit, warming spice, and velvety structure. Generously expressive now, with complexity that evolves beautifully with time.
