A pale pink with a perfumed bouquet of elegant summer fruits and floral nose. The palate is concentrated and elegant with fresh red berries and hints of cherry balanced by refreshing crisp acidity, with a smooth and round finish. This superb
Provence rosé is made from a blend of old vines on clay and gravel soils, using techniques to ensure the highest quality by picking and destemming the grapes and using optical sorting technology to make sure each individual grape is the best. The juice is vinified in stainless steel to preserve the fresh fruits with bâtonnage’ (stirring) of the yeast lees to make a fresh and round wine.
Made by Château d’Esclans in the Côtes de Provence, this rosé is crafted from Grenache, Cinsault, and Rolle (Vermentino) in support. The wine blends free-run juice and gentle pressing, with judicious oak influence to add texture without overpowering brightness.
Serve well chilled (8-10 °C). This rosé is beautifully versatile: try it with seafood (oysters, scallops), grilled fish, sushi, charcuterie, fresh goat cheese, or Mediterranean starters. It also pairs gracefully with soft cheeses and light herb-accented dishes.

“The French word ‘Caves’ doesn’t literally mean caves, but usually refers to wine cellars – and this world famous rosé comes from one of the finest in the world…” Matthew Jukes. Chateau d’Esclans’ is located on an exceptional site, on elevated land near the Gorges de Pennafort, twenty kilometers northwest of the ancient Roman city of Frejus on the Mediterranean coast. The first traces of the chateau’s site date back to Gaullist times during which its location served as a lookout point to spot intruders coming by boat into the Gulf of Frejus. Now owned by Sacha Lichine, this Rosé is renowned as one of the most stylish, elegant roses the wine world has to offer. A must have in every fashionable watering hole in the Cote d'Azur, this is something to get out around your friends and enjoy!
“I sense that Garrus will, one day, be mentioned in the same breath as wines like La Tâche, Latour, Vieilles Vignes Françaises and Le Montrachet” 20/20 Matthew Jukes
