The winegrowing region of Lodi is synonymous with the Zinfandel grape, boasting some of America’s most ancient Zinfandel vines. In fact, there are more plantings here over 50 years old than any other region in the US. Over decades, these old vines have anchored their roots deep into the ground and the resulting fruit is capable of producing concentrated, robustly spicy wines.
