In the glass, Passori Veneto Rosso shows a deep ruby hue with purple highlights. The nose is generous and inviting, opening with ripe plum, black cherry and raisin, followed by layers of warm spice and a touch of vanilla. On the palate it’s rich and velvety, with juicy dark fruit at the core, wrapped in soft tannins and balanced by a gentle lift of acidity. The finish is smooth, rounded, and moreish. The kind of wine that keeps you coming back for another glass.
What gives Passori Veneto Rosso its trademark depth is a winemaking technique inspired by Amarone. A portion of the grapes are left to dry naturally on the vine, concentrating sugars and intensifying flavour. This appassimento method brings extra weight, richness and a hint of raisined sweetness to the blend of Merlot and Corvina, creating a wine that feels indulgent yet remains wonderfully approachable.
Perfect alongside hearty pasta dishes, roasted meats or a simple platter of aged cheeses.
