La Crema was founded in 1979 and quickly established itself as a pioneer for intensely flavoured Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from cooler climates. This wine comes from Monterey; this long valley stretches south through farmland and rolling hills, always buffeted by the cold winds that sweep in off the Pacific Ocean, making for one of the coolest growing regions in California.
