Few grapes taste as distinctive as Sauvignon Blanc: high acidity, lots of aroma and a freshness that’s hard to beat on a warm evening. Where it grows changes everything. In the Loire, in Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé, it’s precise, flinty and restrained. In Marlborough, New Zealand, it’s louder, full of passion fruit, gooseberry and cut grass. That’s the style that made Cloudy Bay and Greywacke famous.

We also stock Sauvignon from Chile, South Africa, Gascony and the Languedoc, and white Bordeaux, where it’s often blended with Sémillon for a rounder texture. Drink it young and well chilled, with goat’s cheese, salads, seafood or anything with fresh herbs.
