Felton Road is a big part of why Central Otago is taken seriously for Pinot Noir. The estate farms biodynamically at Bannockburn, and its Calvert and Cornish Point bottlings show how much the site matters, even within one small district. Line them up against the Bannockburn and MacMuir Pinots, then turn to the two Rieslings, which deserve far more attention than they get.
