Good sparkling wine is made all over the world now, and the differences come down to grape, place and method. Champagne and the best English sparkling wines get their second fermentation in the bottle and then rest on their lees, which brings finer bubbles and those toasty, brioche notes. Cava and Crémant use the same traditional method, often for a fraction of the price. Prosecco is fermented in tanks, so it stays fruity, light and easy.
You’ll find all of it here: Champagne from houses like Laurent-Perrier, Taittinger and Bollinger; English sparkling wine from Bolney, Nyetimber and Chapel Down; Crémant de Loire and Crémant de Bourgogne; Cava, Prosecco and alcohol-free fizz. Use the filters to narrow it down by country, style or price.
