Sandeman is one of Jerez's most famous names, established in 1790 and known primarily for their Sherry and Port. Imperial Brandy de Jerez is aged using the traditional Solera system in ex-Sherry casks, developing layers of complexity over time. This is Spanish brandy in the classic style, richer and more fruit-forward than French Cognac. Non-vintage, so it maintains consistent house style.
Dried fruit, raisins and caramel with vanilla, oak spice and hints of nuts. Full bodied with warming alcohol balanced by sweetness and oak character. Smooth and rounded with the influence of Sherry cask aging evident throughout. There's depth and complexity here with layers of dried fruit, spice and wood notes. Long, warming finish.
Serve at room temperature in a snifter glass. Excellent as an after-dinner digestif, pairs well with dark chocolate, dried fruits, or strong cheeses. Also works well in classic brandy cocktails. Maintains quality indefinitely once opened if stored properly.
