Grand Siècle represents Laurent-Perrier's philosophy that blending great vintages creates something superior to any single year alone. Number 26 combines three outstanding harvests to achieve perfect balance and complexity. Sourced exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards, predominantly Chardonnay with Pinot Noir, aged extensively on lees before release. This is Laurent-Perrier's pinnacle expression.
Brioche, white flowers and citrus with hazelnut, honey and mineral notes. Full bodied with exceptionally fine, persistent mousse and vibrant acidity. There's remarkable complexity here with layers unfolding: stone fruit, toast, almond and subtle spice. Creamy texture balanced by chalky minerality and crystalline precision. Extraordinarily long finish.
Serve cool (8-10°C) to appreciate the layers of complexity. This merits special occasions: pair with king crab, Dover sole meunière, seared foie gras, or fine white truffles. Alternatively, let it stand alone as the celebration itself. Drinking beautifully now, will hold 10+ years.
