Domaine Gassier has been family-owned since 1850, farming vineyards organically in Costières de Nîmes where the Rhône Valley meets the Mediterranean. The estate sits on unique galets roulés (round pebbles) similar to Châteauneuf-du-Pape, which help ripen the grapes fully. Nostre Pais (Our Country in Provençal) blends Grenache and Syrah, certified organic and designed for approachable drinking. The 2023 vintage is fresh and vibrant.
Red cherry, raspberry and plum with garrigue herbs, black pepper and subtle spice. Medium bodied with soft, supple tannins and bright acidity. Fruit-forward and easy-going with that warm southern character balanced by freshness. There's purity here from the organic farming, showing clean fruit expression without heaviness. Straightforward and satisfying.
Serve slightly cool (14-16°C). Pairs well with grilled vegetables, herb-roasted chicken, pizza, or charcuterie. Also works nicely on its own as an easy-drinking red. Enjoy within 2-3 years while the fruit is fresh.

Organically farmed vineyards benefit from a perpetual stewardship that focuses on soil health, biodiversity and the vines’ rich genetic pool. This partnership with nature makes a significant impact on their grapes’ ability to express their terroir, thereby giving wines of freshness, minerality and balance.
Michel Gassier and his wife, Tina, produce handcrafted wines that express “the nuances of their soils and the sincerity of their winemaker”. As a winemaker, Michel believes that the less intervention, the more the terroir can express itself. He says it is also a matter of teamwork, a duo that he forms with his wife.
