Lots of varietal cherry and strawberry aromas with complexing forest floor undertones. A soft but generously flavoured style with sweet aromas of berries and mushroom. The palate is long and concentrated with rich sweet fruit, subtle savoury oak support and smooth tannins.
Serving Suggestion: An ideal accompaniment to red meat, game dishes, tomato based pasta and semi-soft cheeses.

This is a blend of pinot noir fruit from some of the best red growing regions in the country. The majority of the fruit was machine harvested, after which the fruit was fermented in a combination of traditional hand plunged open vats and larger tanks. Maturation was then carried out in predominantly French oak casks for 12 months prior to bottling.
