This fresh Beaujolais has oodles of juicy plums, damsons and strawberries, mingled with hints of spice and fruit. Gentle acidity and ripe tannins tie this wine together, leaving it balanced and big on flavour. It is ideal paired with lighter meats, charcuterie platters or white-rinded cheeses. Because of its fruity nature it begs to be served slightly chilled, at around 11 °C.

Emmanuel Fellot employ sustainable farming methods and are in the process of converting to fully organic viticulture, as well as ensuring that their wines are suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
The old Chateau of Pierre Filant is a family estate that was purchased by the Fellot family back in 1829. Since then the Fellot family has transformed the old estate into a thriving family heritage of farming, growing vines and making wine.
Produced by a third generation artisan winemaker, Domaine Emmanuel Fellot Les Cailloux Côte de Brouilly is a great example of a Côte de Brouilly Beaujolais. Côte de Brouilly is one of the most southerly of the ten Beaujolais Crus, with vineyards skirting around the foot of Mont Brouilly – an ancient volcano. Named after Brulius, a Roman lieutenant that planted vines here 2000 years ago, the appellation is known for producing concentrated, elegant wines with floral notes.
