This outstanding single malt is Cotwolds Distillery’s first whisky with a wonderful depth of flavour that belies its young age
This whisky is rich, spicy and fruity and despite its young age has a wonderful depth of flavour due to the attention to detail and the use of finest oak casks. It has hints of honey, butterscotch and stone fruits on the nose with a rich spiciness on the palate and a long, full finish with a hint of treacle.
The Cotswolds Distillery began laying down casks to mature in September 2014 and this is first Single Malt Whisky to be released. It uses 100% locally grown, floor-malted barley and has been aged in ex-Bourbon barrels and reconditioned red wine casks.
