This is a delicious Bordeaux blend that unveils typical aromas of black fruits combined with herbaceous and toasted notes. On the palate the ripe fruity flavours are balanced well by good tannins, which offer a long and pleasant finish. This wine will be superb alongside a tender piece of beef or soft cheeses.

The Sénéjac vineyard in the commune of Pian Médoc dates back to the 16th century. Since 1999, it has been the property of the Cordier family who also own and run the revered Grand Cru Classé Château Talbot in Saint-Julien. Today it is Nancy Bignon-Cordier and family at the helm. The same care and attention is given to both wines, meaning that this one outperforms its "standing".
The vineyard covers 41 hectares with classic, deep gravel soils and the vines have attained an average of 35 years. The blend for the 2019 was 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc and 8% Petit Verdot.
