Passori Rosso is a rich, smooth red from Veneto, made from Merlot and Corvina. Around 60% Merlot brings plenty of ripe plum and dark fruit, while Corvina adds freshness and structure. Some of the bunches are partially cut from the vine and left to dry in the warm autumn air, concentrating the fruit and giving the wine a deeper, more generous character. Expect ripe plum, black cherry and dried fruit, with touches of spice and vanilla from a short period in oak. Full and supple on the palate, with soft tannins and enough acidity to keep all that ripe fruit feeling balanced rather than heavy. [Slurp Wines, 25/09/2026]
