Domaine Gassier has been family-owned since 1850, farming vineyards organically in Costières de Nîmes where the Rhône Valley meets the Mediterranean. Nostre Pais (Our Country in Provençal) showcases their commitment to expressing terroir through organic viticulture. This white typically blends Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and Viognier, certified organic and fermented in stainless steel. The 2021 vintage has had time to develop a touch more roundness. White peach, pear and citrus with floral notes and subtle almond. Medium bodied with moderate acidity and a smooth, rounded texture. The fruit has softened slightly with age, becoming more mellow and integrated than sharp and vibrant. Clean fruit expression with gentle weight. Straightforward and approachable. Serve chilled (8-10°C). Pairs well with grilled fish, roast chicken, salads, or soft cheeses. This is drinking at its best now, enjoy over the next year while it`s still fresh enough to be enjoyable.
