Winemaker Vanesa Insausti has grown-up making Rioja and gained experience making wines all across the region before settling at Solar Viejo in 2007. Vanesa's aim is always to make the highest quality wines from the very best fruit.
Solar Viejo Crianza is made using a blend of base wines made from the Tempranillo grape. Ageing in American and French oak barrels for 12 months delivers a level of complexity that is well integrated with the rich red fruit.
