Lanson is one of Champagne`s historic houses, founded in 1760 and known for their fresh, non-malolactic style that preserves acidity and citrus character. Le Blanc de Blancs is 100% Chardonnay sourced from Premier and Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs. The house style avoids malolactic fermentation, resulting in wines with sharper acidity and more tension than fuller, creamier Champagnes. Non-vintage for consistent character. Green apple, lemon and white flowers with chalky minerality and subtle brioche. Light to medium bodied with fine, persistent bubbles and bright, refreshing acidity. Crisp and precise with citrus-driven freshness rather than richness. There`s purity and elegance here showing classic Blanc de Blancs character. Clean, mineral finish. Serve well chilled (6-8°C). The freshness and acidity make this excellent with oysters, shellfish, sushi, or grilled white fish. Also works beautifully as a crisp aperitif. Drink within 2-3 years to capture the vibrancy.
