2023 La Collection Le Pur Sans Grenache Organic

Every year, a limited edition wines that reflects the unique conditions for the vintage are created. Together, these wines form La Collection, a celebration of the unpredictability of nature and the creative spirit of the makers at St Jacques d’Albas.

Situated in the Minervois, a seductive region in the west of France’s Languedoc, tucked in between the medieval city of Carcassonne, the Black Mountains and the Canal du Midi, the family-owned Château St Jacques d’Albas benefits from a wealth of natural advantages to produce impressive wines.

Over 60 hectares of forest and garrigue, teaming with wildlife, and an 11th century chapel, protect the 26 hectares of organic vines. From the outset, their philosophy has been to limit yields and take an organic approach to managing the soil and the vines.
