Trivento Eolo Malbec 2017
Made with meticulously selected parcels of fruit from old, low-yielding vines planted in 1912. Rich, complex and powerful.
Appearance- This is a rich, plush, deep red wine, so dark and opaque as to appear almost black at times. Aroma- The nose is redolent of ripe blackberries and black cherry, mingled with soft and inviting accents of rosehip. Fragrant, yet subtle notes of black tea and cinnamon are a legacy of time spent in barrels of French oak. Palate- Fresh and inviting, delivering an excellent balance between layers of fruit, fine tannins and a hint of acidity that conclude in a long and silky finish.
Trivento's wines are a bold and daring expression of the dramatic Andean foothills in which their vineyards grow. This natural drama is refined and elevated in the winery, producing wines that are the incarnation of the rugged, beautiful land in which they were born.
