Les Parcelles (The Plots) is Mouton Cadet's premium tier, sourced from selected organic parcels across Bordeaux rather than the broader sourcing of their standard range. This represents Baron Philippe de Rothschild's commitment to showcasing quality terroir within the branded wine category. Fermented in stainless steel with some lees contact to add texture. The 2020 vintage has had considerable time to develop.
Strawberry, raspberry and pink grapefruit with subtle herbal notes and mineral edge. Medium bodied with moderate acidity and a rounded, smooth texture. The fruit has softened with age, becoming more mellow than crisp. There's more weight and substance here than standard Mouton Cadet rosé. Off-dry with gentle residual sweetness.
Serve chilled (8-10°C). Pairs well with grilled salmon, Asian cuisine, soft cheeses, or charcuterie. The rounded texture works beautifully with richer dishes that would overwhelm crisper rosés. Drink within the year to enjoy the developed character.
