Laurent-Perrier's Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature is 100% Chardonnay from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims. Brut Nature means absolutely no sugar added at dosage, making this completely bone-dry and relying entirely on the quality of the base wines. This style demands exceptional fruit and extended lees aging to achieve balance without sweetness. Non-vintage for consistent house style.
Green apple, citrus and white flowers with chalky minerality and subtle brioche. Light to medium bodied with fine, persistent bubbles and razor-sharp acidity. Bone-dry with crystalline purity showing Chardonnay at its most precise and unadorned. There's tension and energy here rather than richness. Clean, mineral-driven finish with bracing freshness.
Serve well chilled (6-8°C). The purity and acidity make this exceptional with oysters, raw shellfish, sushi, or delicate white fish. Also brilliant as an aperitif for those who prefer bone-dry styles. Drink within 2-3 years to capture the freshness.
