François Millet Sancerre 2020
Aromas of minerals and newly-cut grass make for a fresh and delicate nose. Great, fresh stone fruit, tangy citrus and gooseberry notes balance well on the palate, with a hint of tropical ripeness underpinned by refreshing minerality. This is a full-bodied, rich wine that also maintains an important crisp and tangy finish.
Established in 1850, in the pretty village of Bué in the Eastern Loire Valley, Domaine Millet is now run by Monique, François and their son Nicholas, ancestors of the original founders who passed their patience and common sense down through the generations. Today François Millet wines are carefully crafted with the greatest respect for the vineyards, grapes and resulting wines.
