Tasting Notes

Slurp Wines NR

A beautiful sunset pink colour. Aromas include a charming mix of fresh red fruits along with intriguing spice notes of anise and lavender. The palate has a creamy, round texture with refreshing redcurrent, raspberry and cherry flavours. [Slurp Wines, 05/06/2026]

Nyetimber Vineyard pioneered the UK's recent rise to fame and recognition for its ability to be taken seriously at international level. The estate was conceived, planted and equipped exclusively for the production of top-quality sparkling wines. The Nyetimber sparkling Rose is produced using the same traditional methods as the Classic Cuvee and Blanc de Blancs, the process including the secondary fermentation in the bottle and ageing on lees for at least three years prior to release. Made from a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, a portion of the Pinot is fermented with the skins to make the Rose colour. These grapes must be in perfect condition to make the very best quality rose; and it will therefore only be produced in years when the environment is at its optimum. The first vintage of Nyetimber Rose is from the 2007 harvest.
