The exquisite Schloss Gin is distilled to London Dry style with only natural plant extracts and produced in small quantities. It is made from a special recipe based on the writings of Benedictine Monk Odo Staab (1745-1822), cellar master of the Prince Abbey of Fulda who developed some of Johannisberg's early wines.
Schloss Johannisberg is one of the most famed and historic estates in Germany, having first been founded as a wine-producing Benedictine Monastery in 1100. To this day, the notable Schloss Johannisberg winery, which overlooks Germany's picturesque Rhine River, makes some of the finest, most long-lived expressions of Riesling. It has recently introduced Schloss Small Batch Gin, which is produced in small quantities, and Vermouth to its highly sought-after range.
