Slurp Wines NR
A pale pink with a perfumed bouquet of elegant summer fruits and floral nose. The palate is concentrated and elegant with fresh red berries and hints of cherry balanced by refreshing crisp acidity, with a smooth and round finish. This superb Provence rosé is made from a blend of old vines on clay and gravel soils, using techniques to ensure the highest quality by picking and destemming the grapes and using optical sorting technology to make sure each individual grape is the best. The juice is vinified in stainless steel to preserve the fresh fruits with bâtonnage’ (stirring) of the yeast lees to make a fresh and round wine. Made by Château d’Esclans in the Côtes de Provence, this rosé is crafted from Grenache, Cinsault, and Rolle (Vermentino) in support. The wine blends free-run juice and gentle pressing, with judicious oak influence to add texture without overpowering brightness. Serve well chilled (8-10 °C). This rosé is beautifully versatile: try it with seafood (oysters, scallops), grilled fish, sushi, charcuterie, fresh goat cheese, or Mediterranean starters. It also pairs gracefully with soft cheeses and light herb-accented dishes.
