Mar de Frades is a quality estate in RÃas Baixas, Galicia`s coastal wine region where Albarino thrives on granite soils with constant Atlantic influence. The maritime climate brings morning fog and cooling breezes that preserve acidity while the fruit ripens. This is textbook RÃas Baixas Albarino, fermented in stainless steel to showcase pure varietal character. Fresh from the 2024 harvest with all the vibrancy intact. White peach, citrus and green apple with saline minerality and floral notes. Medium bodied with racy acidity and a clean, refreshing finish. There`s coastal freshness here with that distinctive mineral salinity from proximity to the Atlantic. Bone-dry with bright fruit balanced by stony tension. Uncomplicated but properly made with real character. Serve well chilled (6-8°C). Classic pairing is with Galician seafood like pulpo, percebes or grilled prawns, but also excellent with sushi, oysters, or as a crisp aperitif. Drink within 2-3 years while the freshness and minerality are at their peak.
