The 2014 Reverend V Cabernet Sauvignon demonstrates how a cooler sub-climate can produce outstanding fruit. Deep and brooding purple in colour, this Cabernet exhibits all the regional characters of Mount Barker, crunchy cassis perfume and cedar notes follow onto the palate of rich ripe berries. Generous weight and texture supports the palate while the balance of oak and tannin provided exceptional length from start to finish. This Cabernet can be cellared for up to ten years. Drink with roasted or grilled red meats with all the trimmings, or mature cheeses.

"The mint-scented 2014 Right Reverend V Cabernet Sauvignon is a big, lush wine sourced from Mount Barker. Cassis and plum fill the mouth, with hints of dried herbs and tobacco emerging on the silky finish. There's a lot of puppy fat to this wine, making it approachable right now, but hold it for 5 years and you'll be rewarded with a more complete, savory experience."
