Vesevo Beneventano Falanghina 2018
Fresh, crisp and aromatic
The Vesevo estate is located in the high, mountainous area of Avellino, in the Irpinian hills of Campania. Known as the 'Switzerland of the South', Avellino is one of Italy`s most exciting wine producing areas. The vineyards are situated between 450-700m above sea level, and are subject to a constant cool breeze that blows off the Bay of Naples.
This Beneveneto Falanghina was fermented at low temperatures which has retained the fresh, crisp and aromatic quality of the wine but still allowed its character to shine through. Perfumes of honeysuckle, citrus and apples provide a backdrop to the full, ripe palate and lift the finish. It has a lovely length and elegance, with a touch of honey on the finish.
