Tinpot Hut Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2019
"This is a flinty, dry and textural wine... effortlessly pure" 98 Pts Decanter Magazine
Panel Tasting June 2017 - "Tinpot Hut’s wines are made from owner and winemaker Fiona Turner’s own vineyards in Blind River and combined with grapes from other carefully selected sites in Marlborough and Hawke’s Bay. This is a flinty, dry and textural wine. A concentrated and poised amalgamation of complexity and style, effortlessly pure and well composed with nice phenolics and crisp acidity. (Melanie Brown 98pts) A broad Sauvignon Blanc with cut grass and subdued passion fruit flavours. This is quite a lively, energetic wine with a lengthy finish. (Bob Campbell MW 98pts) Classic herbal, grassy and fruity bouquet with flavours of fresh lemon and grapefruit, then red apple and some tropical fruit; vibrant acidity, refreshing, balanced and well made with decent length. (Cameron Douglas MS 98pts) Drink now till 2019
