The Crossings Marlborough Pinot Noir 2018
This vibrantly intense and expressive Pinot Noir has a ruby red hue to the core.
Part of the Yealands family wine group since 2011, The Crossings has three distinct vineyard sites along the north bank of the Awatere River; Medway, planted with Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir.
The Crossings love their wine and the land that helps produce it, so they do everything to guarantee they will be able to keep making wine here indefinitely. All three of their vineyards are fully accredited through the Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand programme. The goal is to make sure nothing done now will have an effect that will detract from the land or the wine in the future.
This expressive Pinot Noir has lifted fruit flavours in the dark berry spectrum
balanced with earthy savory notes, vibrancy, purity and structure.
