Survivor Wild Ferment Syrah 2018
An intense, oak-aged Syrah from South Africa's Swartland region.
An intense wine that combines fresh flavours of blackberries and violets with bold hints of spice. The grapes spend time ageing in French oak barrels, first as whole clusters, and later with the skins removed, which gives the finished wine great structure and balance. The finish is soft due to silky, round tannins. This is a great wine to pair with food, espescially barebqued meats and spicy dishes.
