Of a rich amber color, this aged wine has rich honeyed flavours and an inherent sweetness. Its special fragrance and flavours, like honeyed apricot and orange, come from the grapes that are aged in oak casks for an extended period of time, following the traditional aszu process.

This rare style of Hungarian wine is made with carefully selected berries shrivelled by 'noble rot', and aged in wooden barrels in the cellars of Tokaji. St Stephen's Crown is an excellent producer, and this example is great value for money and an authenticc style.
