San Marzano 'Talò' Verdeca 2018
Exotic flavours of ripe melon, spice and ginger enhanced by lime and jasmine notes with a creamy texture.
San Marzano was established back in 1962 when 19 family vine growers joined to combine their resources and expertise, with the aim to produce wines which reflect the region, while embracing modern winery practises. They are now one of the most highly regarded cooperatives in Southern Italy - highlighted when they were awarded European Producer of the Year at the Sommelier Wine Awards 2017. We think the quality accross the range is excellent, and they offer great expessions of local grapes such as Negroamaro and Primitivo, while being very well-priced, making these perfect weekday wines.
A refreshing, dry 100% Verdeca which shows a richness of aromatics- white flowers, crisp green apple and a hint of honey. Full flavoured, with a creamy texture and a thirst quenching finish.
