San Marzano Il Pumo Sauvignon/Malvasia Salento 2017
This Gold-medal-winning Italian 50/50 blend is full of Southern Italian sunshine, with peach, tropical and orange zest flavours balanced by suprising freshness.
San Marzano was established back in 1962 when 19 family vine growers joined to combine their resources and expertise, with the aim to produce wines which reflect the region, while embracing modern winery practises. They are now one of the most highly regarded cooperatives in Southern Italy - highlighted when they were awarded European Producer of the Year at the Sommelier Wine Awards 2017. We think the quality accross the range is excellent, and they offer great expessions of local grapes such as Negroamaro and Malvasia, while being very well-priced, making these perfect weekday wines.
