This limited parcel release from Quinta do Garrocha hails from the trendy Lisbon region. Winemaker Francisco Macieira has blended the international Cabernet Sauvignon with the local Sousao grape to create a full-flavoured and smooth red brimming with real character. Vinification includes traditional foot treading as used in Port production, followed by ageing in French and American oak. This is wine which really shows off what modern Portugal is all about, and the qualiy now being achieved with still table wines.
