Both sites are close to the Atlantic Ocean, benefitting from the cool winds cooling down the areas. Vines are a mixture of Dryland and Drip Irrigation supplemented vineyards.\u003cbr\u003eSpier is one of South Africa's oldest wine farms with a recorded winemaking history dating back to 1692.
