Pickering's Gin with Scottish Botanicals 35cl
A special collector’s edition Pickering's Gin celebrating The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo
Pickering's Gin is based on an old Bombay recipe, handwritten on a fragment of paper dated 17 July 1947. Kept as a family secret for over 66 years, it only resurfaced in 2013 when they began distilling at Summerhall, right in the heart of Edinburgh.
By the time Pickering's launched in 2014 they had fine-tuned the recipe, perfecting its balance of botanicals and tweaking it to the contemporary palate. The result is a spectacularly smooth, refreshing and flavoursome gin.
Pickering's has been named the official gin of The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. To celebrate, they've dressed in tartan and put their medals on display with this special collector’s edition bottle, adding 4 uniquely Scottish botanicals to their classic blend.
Indigenous Scottish heather, milk thistle, bog myrtle and Scots Pine lend sweet earthy and floral notes to the characterful Pickering's Bombay recipe, for a spectacularly smooth and stirring spirit.
