A musky nose, this has a backbone of fresh acidity which keeps things balanced and ensures the rich character isn't overpowering. The finish is long and pronounced with vanilla oak and peach fruit with a smoky edge. A really interesting and delicious style.
Ramping up a gear or two, this is quite different to our other Greek whites. An Assyrtiko and Semillon blend which is full flavoured with a richly fruited palate and obvious oak. Barrel-fermented, the oak is handled very well though and gives a classy feel to the wine - which could be mistaken for Meursault, albeit with an exotic edge! Take to a dinner party to suprise and impress guests. Enjoy now to 2022.
