Neudorf Tom's Block Nelson Pinot Noir 2016

A wine which never tires or bores but rather offers a full juicy mouthful
Since founding the estate in 1978 on the north-facing slopes of the Moutere Valley, at the top of the South Island, Tim and Judy Linn have created an international reputation for all their wines: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Riesling. The vineyards are dry farmed on gravelly, clay-rich soils. Nelson is one of the sunniest parts of New Zealand and the warm summers, extending into cooler autumn nights, produce intense and rich-textured wines. This wine is another step in the evolution of Tom’s Block under Todd Stevens. The vision is always “less is more.” The fingerprint of the winemaker should be imperceptible, allowing the site to have a voice.
