Los Haroldos Reserve Malbec 2015
93pts - Tim Atkin Argentinian Report
A classic, classy 100% Malbec wine from Mendoza in the heart of Argentina, full of dark fruit and spice. The grapes are grown at a high-altitude, 70+ year old vineyard over 1,200 meters above sea level in the Uco Valley, one of the prime locations for top quality Malbec. The 2015 vintage has been awarded 93 Points by Tim Atkin and 91 Points by James Suckling.
A fresher style of Argentinian Malbec with an inviting nose loaded with juicy cherries and raspberries. The palate is elegant, with crunchy red fruits supported by chalky tannins and invigorating minerality. Stylish wine, with an impressive tension and a long, fresh finish.
