Gran Fabrica Cariñena Crianza 2016
A winning combination of mature but generous fruit and spicy, toasty oak
This cracking Cariñena Crianza shows ripe red fruit, mellowed, matured and bestowed with toasty, spicy notes by its sojourn in oak barrels. A bold but balanced blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Garnacha and Tempranillo with big, warming flavours of dried mixed berries, vanilla and toast. A really inviting red that stands up on its own, but is equally happy alongside richly flavoured and warming dishes, from braised chorizo to ratatouille.
Bodegas Paniza are located in the DO Cariñena subregion of Aragon in Spain. Blessed with a warm but moderate climate, and some truly ancient vines, some over a century old, they can produce rich and deeply concentrated wines that embody the spirit of the Spanish sunshine.
