Domaine Hegarty Chamans N°3 'La Piboule' Minervois 2017
A superb full-flavoured Minervois from Hegarty, an estate run to Organic and Biodynamic principles.
"Spicy, alluring, rather opulent nose. Real zip and freshness to this wine as well as the lusciousness of fruit. Bravo!" 16.5 points - JancisRobinson.com (2015 vintage)
"A dark, full, garrigue-scented, Mourvèdre-dominant red with 20% Syrah and 10% Carignan. The biodynamic grapes are fermented and aged in (once again fashionable) concrete tanks, so there’s no oak influence on the spicy, nutty, perfumed layers." 92 points - Joanna Simon (The Wine Gang) (2015 vintage)
"Wild, gamey thyme lavender and fennel perfumed pure nose. Textured mid palate, very delicious" - chosen as a Coup de Coeur - Sud de France Top 100 (2015 vintage)
