For almost fifty years the family grew grapes and sold them to others. Then in 1999, after a full renovation of the winery, they began bottling wine under their own name. Today his daughters Begoña and Ana María run the estate, which keeps it among the few Chilean wineries still owned and run by the founding family.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eOne valley, many climates\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCuricó is one of Chile’s largest wine valleys, but it rarely gets the attention it deserves. Aresti wants to change that. The family now farms four estates that run from the coast-cooled west of the valley to the foothills of the Andes. The cooler sites give crisp, lively whites, while the warm valley floor ripens generous reds.
