Champagne Vollereaux produces this special cuvée based on the three Champagne varietals, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Founded in 1805 initially as just winegrowers, but in 1923 they produced their first wine under their own label. The legacy has been maintained over six generations and seven families are now involved in the business with Frank Vollereaux currently ensuring that all aspects of production are meticulously managed.
Vollereaux owns nearly 100 acres of vineyards. These vineyards are located on the Coteaux Sud (southern flanks) of Epernay in the Marne Valley. The vineyards' aspect gives the vines maximum sun exposure throughout the year. The soil has a constant moisture level thanks to its clay-limestone content and it retains the sun’s heat, enabling the full expression of the different varietals.
