Bruichladdich Bere Barley
This whiskey has outstanding texture to the intensity of the fruit and ancient grain flavors.
An eight-year-old limited-edition Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, distilled in 2010 using a 2009 harvest of Bere barley grown throughout the Orkney Islands. On the nose aromas of cereal, malt and porridge are balanced by intense fruit, peaches in syrup, lemon meringue pie, oak, honey, vanilla, coffee and coconut. The palate offers notes of malted barley, honey, peaches, chocolate, cinder toffee and apricot jam.
