Jumilla is part of the Murcia region in the Levante province of Spain. Bodegas Juan Gil is situated on the slopes of the Penarubia Mountain, the highest part of Jumilla, and are noted for their richly flavoured, concentrated Monastrell (aka Mourvedre). Vegetarian and Vegan.
The nose has rich plum and blackcurrant pastille characters, with a delicate vanilla spice and cedar character infused from 4 months in French and American oak. The palate is ripe, smooth and opulent with layers of juicy blackberry, lush spicy plum and cherry fruit.
